Try .gov!

While there are many career development services and job seeking assistance agencies available, there are also valuable resources provided by government websites.  USAJobs is the place to look if you are interested in working for the government.  From job databases, resume building, and information on employers, this site will help you find a job that fits you!  Check out their resume tips

 Did you know Career One Stop has a free skills assessment test?  Sometimes it’s difficult to make a career change because it’s hard think about new jobs you would do well.  Skills assessment tests are designed to match your skills, interests, and motivations with a career or occupation that is compatible.  You can take a free skills test to help match you up with the right job, at Career One Stop, sponsored by the US Department of Labor. Try it here

Then, research your suggested careers with the Occupational Outlook Handbook, compiled by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics!  You’ll find labor market information, job projections, and detailed career profiles for thousands of jobs.
